AAG selects CARIFTA Games team


The Athletic Association of Guyana has selected its team of 15 athletes and 3 officials for CARIFTA

Fourteen-year-old sprint phenom, Kenisha Phillips (left) comfortably eases at the finish line with a sizeable victory in the U-18 Girl’s 200m.

2016 Games which will be held on 26th – 28th March in Grenada.
Kenisha Phillips, who made an impact on last weekend’s junior championship at the Leonora track, is a notable inclusion in the lineup of athletes to represent Guyana at the event. Phillips is one to watch for the future as she recorded impressive times last weekend and it is anticipated she will make her mark at the CARIFTA games and beyond.  Daniel Williams and Andrea Foster were also outstanding and are in the team.
